Each year, we challenge Otter Products and Blue Ocean Enterprises employees to raise money for our Innovation Station fund, a uniquely created fund that provides grant to schools in Northern Colorado and San Diego for the creation Innovation Stations. Innovation Stations are unique spaces where students use hands-on tools and equipment to learn, experiment, design and create!
As in years past, employees did not disappoint! Otters and Blues stepped up to the plate and helped raise over $65,000 in four short weeks! Innovation and giving back are two important Core Values for Otter Products and Blue Ocean Enterprises employees. We’re excited that we are able to combine these two Values in one fun employee fundraising event!
OtterCares has matched these donations, making $125,000 available to schools and nonprofits for the creation Innovation Stations!

Each Innovation Station is unique to a school or nonprofit, with teachers putting a lot of thought and care into tailoring their Innovation Stations to meet the needs of their student population. But they all have one thing in common – INNOVATION! Our grant review committee is ready and excited to read the Innovation Station Fund grant applications and hear about the incredible ideas that teachers have to help ignite the spark of innovation in their students.
