On February 9, Otter Products closed their doors to open their hearts for the company’s first ever volunteer day! In a single day, over 850 employees volunteer over 4,650 hours with more than 100 schools and nonprofits in Northern Colorado and San Diego. Through working with students in school innovation stations, teaching students about philanthropy through our Project Heart curriculum, to helping nonprofits learn how to create a strategic plan for their organizations, Otter Products employees reached over 7,500 students in a single day!
One Otter employee said of his experience with a student he spent time with during closed2open, “Our founders Curt and Nancy Richardson decided to close the company for the day to give back to the community. To inspire young people. Well you definitely allowed us to inspire this young man.”
