Why did you become an OtterCares Ambassador: I became an otter cares Ambassador to give back to the community that has given me and my family so much.

Who or what has influenced your volunteer work (why do you volunteer?):  I volunteer to help less privileged families/children feel like they have a chance to be successful

Describe a volunteer activity you have been involved in that relates to the OtterCares purpose statement:  During the summer, my boys and I volunteer for the “bookmobile”  A traveling library, similar to an ice cream truck, that visits less fortunate neighborhoods and allows children to check out books, read and return for prizes.

Describe your favorite volunteer activity (either one time or ongoing): My favorite volunteer activity has been at the Mission cooking/serving holiday meals and delivering care packages.

Why do you think the OtterCares purpose is important?:  It is SO important to give back to our community!  I have raised my 2 boys in Fort Collins and the community has been a very positive place for my boys to grow up.  Not all children are as fortunate as mine so it’s important to give back to those children as well as get my kids involved in the community and volunteering.
