The Not-So-Ordinary Ornament: A Student Enterprise with a Ripple Effect — Fossil Ridge ACE Program

School/Org Fossil Ridge High School ACE Program
Location Fort Collins, CO
Funding Employee Giving
Year Annual (ongoing)

Each holiday season, a student-led enterprise designs one-of-a-kind ornaments for Otter employees — and every donation is granted back out to inspire tomorrow's entrepreneurs and philanthropists.

Every holiday season, OtterCares works with a student-led enterprise to design and produce one-of-a-kind ornaments for Otter Products employees.

The hands-on project walks students through the full lifecycle of running a business — from product creation and production to packaging and delivery. Employees receive the ornaments in exchange for a donation, and those dollars are granted back out to inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs and philanthropists.

It’s a small tradition with a big ripple effect: a student enterprise that funds even more student opportunities.
