What happens when you connect passionate, driven young people with a real-world business problem? You create entrepreneurs.

The Entrepreneurship class at Windsor Charter Academy spent a semester working with Windsor Severance Fire & Rescue to design real products that improve the lives of rescuers and first responders. The partnership gave students a genuine outlet for their entrepreneurial ideas — and showed the wider community that kids really can develop solutions that make a positive difference.

It’s a powerful reminder that student ideas, taken seriously, can change a community and the world.
