Nonprofit Development Workshops

The OtterCares Foundation, in partnership with Maro Zagoras and Desired Outcomes Inc., invites northern Colorado nonprofit Executive Directors and a member of their board leadership team to attend a series of free organizational development workshops this fall.  Facilitated by professional trainer Maro Zagoras, these workshops are designed to advance attendee proficiencies in program logic, social enterprise and board effectiveness.

Achieving Your “Desired Outcomes”                          Registration is Closed
When:  Monday, October 21st         8am check-in, 8:30am-11:00am workshop
Where: The Group Inc., 2803 East Harmony Road – Fort Collins
~ Do you want to: Enhance or expand your organization’s impact? Craft better grant proposals that will help you receive more funding? Skillfully demonstrate the performance of your program(s)? This workshop will help you achieve these goals and more.  Learn how to utilize program logic to outline desired outcomes in order to execute more effective programs throughout your organization.

When:  Friday, November 8th          8am check-in, 8:30am-10:00am workshop
Where: The Group Inc., 2803 East Harmony Road – Fort Collins
~ Imagine what you could do if you didn’t have to worry about cash flow. This workshop will discuss unique and innovative funding strategies which will allow you to focus more energy on achieving your mission and less on fundraising.  Learn the methods of successful social enterprises so that you can implement them to enhance your income generation strategies.

Designed to provide successful strategies to maximize the effectiveness of your Board of Directors, this workshop will cover tools aimed at improving teamwork, smartly outlining division of responsibilities, identifying and utilizing member strengths, and the key elements of recruiting and retaining highly effective board members.
